Class of 2020

Graduation is an exciting time for our graduates and families as they celebrate this milestone and prepare themselves for their next chapter in their lives. As a staff, it is rewarding for us to know that we have been a part of your journey. Unfortunately, the recent curve in the road has not allowed us to put the finishing touches on your final year as would normally be done. You have persevered, supported each other, and gained resilience which will benefit each one of you as you become contributing citizens. Although you are graduating among uncertain times, I am confident that you are prepared to take on the world and overcome any challenges you may encounter.

As Logan Lake’s Graduates of 2020 you have made friendships, created memories and shared good times with your classmates and staff.  As you embark on the next phase of your lives remember to come back to your roots and share your journey with those that supported you up until now. We want to continue to celebrate your successes along with you.  I wish all our graduates the very best and encourage you to reach for the stars and challenge yourselves. Remember that if you have not attempted it, you will never know if you can do it!

Congratulations 2020 GRADS!

Ron Collins,

Principal

School education experience

Unique - I took a challenging situation and molded it to shape my needs. I did whatever I could do to help myself exceed, and had some difficult experiences along the way. I learned a lot more than just in the classroom, and had some amazing teachers that taught me way more than just the curriculum.

Moments of inspiration

I attended a 20-day volunteer trip in Kenya where I found inspiration in healthcare and giving back. I have begun to pursue this career, attending TRU and taking my healthcare assistant certification.

Plans for the future

I will attend TRU for a year working on science courses, while working as a care aid, and eventually I will obtain my BScN and become a RN.

Message for fellow grads

You are responsible for your future, don’t do what you think other people want you to do, do what you want to do. Because at the end of the day, you’ll always have to deal with yourself.

“Instead of making your hardships and failures discourage or exhaust you, let them inspire you.”
